Working closely with the City of Belmont staff liaison, our organizations coordinated efforts to develop a comprehensive DBDA/Main Street/City of Belmont "Keep The Lights On In Belmont" initiative supporting the Downtown Belmont Businesses in the face of COVID-19.

ADVOCACY:

Advocacy letter, sent to our State and US Representatives, encouraging legislation for small businesses grants and offering consideration of programs such as Main Street’s, as a distribution vehicle

Informational letter sent to Downtown Belmont commercial property owners informing them of assistance they can receive and encouraging them to pass along any received relief to tenants

93 boxes of gloves, 2000 surgical masks, 75 1/2 gallons of hand sanitizer, and counting, distributed to businesses
